Ziptrak® Blinds Perth

We supply and install Ziptrack® blinds across Perth for homes and businesses.

Ziptrak® is an Australian-owned and manufactured blind system that’s been trusted for over 20 years. It’s a patented track-guided system and one of the most recognised outdoor blind brands in the country, installed in thousands of homes, cafes, restaurants, and commercial spaces.

Built to handle the harsh Australian climate, Ziptrak® blinds are designed for outdoor areas that face constant wind, sun, and changing weather conditions throughout the year. They’re commonly fitted around patios, alfresco dining areas, verandahs, and outdoor entertaining spaces that get used year-round.

How It Works

Ziptrak® uses a track-guided system designed to fully enclose a space. The fabric is held within aluminium side tracks as it moves up and down, keeping the fabric taught and level even in high wind. It means there are no gaps around the edges, and wind, sun, or rain is kept out of your space.

The system is spring-balanced, so it can be raised or lowered by hand without cords or cranks. You can stop the blind at any height, depending on how much shade you need. At the base, a centre-lock-release handle secures the blind in place. It holds firm, even in strong winds.

What It Does

Ziptrak® is built for Australian conditions. Their Vistaweave mesh can block up to 99% of UV rays and reduce wind and rain by up to 96%.

In summer, it helps keep heat out. But in the winter, it will actually hold the warmth in.

Areas that were once too hot, windy, or exposed now become usable for longer periods and during different seasons.

Materials

You can choose between sunscreen mesh and clear or tinted PVC.

The Ziptrak® vistaweave mesh is available in a range of colours and transparencies. It blocks almost all of the sun’s UV rays and can significantly lower the temperature. But it still allows air to flow through the space so it doesn’t feel stuffy.

  • Up to 99% UV block
  • Up to 96% wind and rain block
  • Reduces glare
  • Allows airflow
  • Gives you privacy during the day
  • Easy to maintain without frequent cleaning

You can opt for either clear or tinted PVC that is engineered for the outdoor conditions of Australia. It’s recommended when you need to fully enclose a space from the wind and rain.

  • Completely blocks out wind, rain, dust, and debris
  • Transparent for uninterrupted views
  • Best option for maintaining the temperature of the space
  • Up to 93% UV block

Operation & Motorisation

Ziptrak® can be operated manually using the spring-balanced system, or you can upgrade to motorised control.

Motorisation lets you raise or lower blinds with a remote, useful for larger blinds or operating multiple blinds at once.

The optional SolarSmart® uses a solar-powered motor, so you don’t need to install new wiring or bring in an electrician to get it going.

Sizing & Customisation

There aren’t any standard sizes. Each Ziptrak® blind is custom-measured, made, and installed to suit the individual space.

Blinds can span up to 5.2 metres wide and 3.5 metres high. Every blind is built based on the width, height, and structure on which it’s being installed.

Hardware & Colour Choices

Ziptrak® uses aluminium componentry throughout the system, including the side tracks, bottom bar, and pelmet.

The hardware is available in any COLORBOND® shade.

The hardware can also be powder-coated in other colours to match your home.
