Vistaweave

We supply and install Vistaveave across Perth for homes and businesses.

Vistaweave is an Australian manufacturer with a 40-year history of making outdoor fabrics specifically for our climate. Their materials are developed for long-term exposure to the harshest conditions. Vistaweave is a common material choice for blinds in alfresco enclosures, patios, verandahs, and commercial outdoor areas.

Their fabrics are trusted – both by homeowners and businesses – who need blinds or awnings that won’t fade in the Perth sun or collapse in the wind after a few years. If you live in Australia, you’ve probably walked past countless Vistaweave fabrics on local shop awnings or restaurant blinds without even realising it.

What Is Vistaweave?

Vistaweave produces a range of woven mesh fabrics for outdoor use. Their various materials are used for different blind and awning systems, depending on how much protection and visibility is needed.

Each fabric is named based on its ‘openness’. This refers to how tightly woven the material is. It’s also what determines how much light, air, and visibility can pass through the fabric.

For example, Vistaweave 95 is woven to be 95% closed, which means it’s 5% ‘open’. The higher the number, the tighter the weave and the more protection it provides.

All Vistaweave fabrics use a woven polyester base with a PVC coating, giving them the strength required for long-term outdoor use.

Vistaweave 95

Reduces heat and glare, but still lets you see out and allows for good airflow.

Vistaweave 98

A tighter weave that provides more shade and limits the amount of light that can enter the space.

Vistaweave 99

Designed for maximum privacy and sun control while still allowing limited filtered light through.

UV & Heat Protection

Vistaweave is specially designed to reduce heat and block harmful UV radiation from the Aussie sun. Depending on the openness level you choose, the fabric can block up to 99% of UV rays.

By reducing the amount of sunlight entering the space, it’ll also help lower heat buildup and glare. This is especially important for west-facing gardens and outdoor spaces that are exposed to strong afternoon sun.

Durability

Vistaweave is made for long-term outdoor use. Across the range, the fabric is designed to hold its shape and colour, even with constant exposure to sun and weather. It’s also low maintenance, since the finish is engineered to resist staining and prevent the build-up of dirt.

The PVC-coated polyester fabric is resistant to:

  • UV exposure
  • Moisture
  • General weathering

All Vistaweave fabrics are built to go up against the harsh Australian climate and weather, but durability will increase as the weave becomes tighter.

Warranty

Vistaweave is backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty provided by Nolan Group, the parent company that manufactures and supplies Vistaweave fabrics.

This means that if you encounter a problem with a Vistaweave fabric within the first ten years, they will pay to replace it through the original purchaser (the shop you bought it from).

The warranty guarantees that the fabric:

Is free from major manufacturing defects
Is produced to the published specifications
Will not degrade unreasonably due to ultraviolet exposure
Is fit for its intended purpose

This means that if you encounter a problem with a Vistaweave fabric within the first ten years, they will pay to replace it through the original purchaser (the shop you bought it from).

Colour Range

Vistaweave has an extensive 37-colour palette, including 24 shades inspired by COLORBOND® steel. This lets homeowners coordinate their blinds with existing roofing, gutters, or walls at their property that use the brand’s famous steel products.

The range includes darker and lighter tones, which affect how the fabric performs. Darker colours generally provide more outward visibility, while paler colours reflect more light and reduce heat.
